Bio:

Usha Narayanswamy is originally from India. She came to the USA for graduate school and has lived in Boulder county for close to 30 years. After graduating from CU, Boulder, she worked as a software engineer for several years before choosing to be a stay-at-home mom for her three children for eight years. Once her children started elementary school, she decided to change her career to her true passion, that of an educator. She got her teacher license in elementary education and later added an endorsement in secondary mathematics. She has worked with students of different grade-levels (pre-school through college years), learning styles and abilities for over 15 years and has been teaching at APEX since 2012. Besides teaching, her primary job is to take care of her family. Usha loves to cook, work in her garden, draw and paint, and go on hikes and camping trips with her friends and family in her spare time.
