New District Student Cell Phone Policy - Revised August 2026
K8 Policy
For all our K8 students, our policy now is OFF AND AWAY DURING THE DAY. This means that for the full day at APEX from 8:35 to 3:15 students may not use or have a phone on their person and must keep the phone silenced and/or turned off. Read the policy for details.
HS Policy
For all our high school students in all classes including FRCC Spanish on our campus, our policy now is NO PHONES IN INSTRUCTIONAL ZONES. This means that for the full time of each scheduled class, student phones cannot be in use, on their person, or in their backpack. All phones will be kept in a phone caddy in each classroom.
