Weather Policy
It’s Colorado! Anything can happen at any time. But we do our best to keep on keeping on so we don’t have to make up snow days. If the St. Vrain Valley Schools are closed, we will not meet. If we have to cancel, an email will be sent to all enrolled families by 7:00 am. But if it is yuckier at your place than ours and you think you’d better stay home by the fire, that’s your call. Just make sure you make one more call – to tell us you’re staying home.
Weather Policy:
If the St. Vrain Valley Schools call for an online learning day due to weather, APEX classes will be canceled and will not meet online. Middle and high school classes may still post assignments and homework for the missed class. Families are notified no later than 7:00 am by whatever method they have indicated in Infinite Campus. However, parents are encouraged to consider local weather and driving conditions when deciding to attend classes during inclement weather. Whenever possible, students will have outside recess when the temperature is above freezing. Parents should be sure students are appropriately dressed for the weather.
