Description: Norse, Egyptian, Mayan, American Indian, Asian, and other mythologies will be explored through a variety of readings, projects and presentations. This class will enhance students' language arts skills through the lens of mythology. Successful completion of Myths and Heroes or a class in Greek and Roman Mythology is helpful but not required.

Let's go Back to Kaskia!
        You are a cultural historian archeologist specializing  in the mythology of a certain region of Kaskia.
        Your boss has asked you to produce a diagram of an artifact you have found in your work that has a detailed drawing of the object and an explanation of what you think its purpose/meaning is in terms of the cultures mythos/pantheon, etc. 
          This could be a statue, a temple, a basket, an image/picture/drawing, etc. and should be specific to and make sense in your particular region of Kaskia.
