Hi Students Amazing clay creations today! You are really brining the Yoruba Origin myth to life! This week check out this origin myth video from
the Dogon tribe.
The Dogon are an ethnic group living in the central plateau region of Mali, in West Africa, south of the Niger bend, near the city of Bandiagara and in Burkina Faso. The population numbers between 400,000 and 800,000. It is a much different creation myth involving pottery and other interesting elements! Please draw your own version of the Nummo twins (yikes!) Please also practice your African geography and we will have another map quiz challenge in class! Have a great week and stay warm and cozy! Mrs. G
