Welcome to Mrs. G's Class!

My name is Mysti Christensen-Gulsrud, (such a mouth-full)! So, I go by Mrs. “G”! I graduated from UNC with a masters degree in teaching English Education. I received a B.A. in English, from the University of Oregon. Go Ducks! Prior to becoming a teacher, I owned a business as a jewelry and floral designer. I love bringing creativity to the Language Arts classroom. I live nearby in Longmont with my husband, Tim and two boys Karsten, 19 and Soren, 17. We have two cats, Rocky Road and Whiskers McWhiskersen (“Whiskey”), and a lizard named Spike! I am a ballet dancer and I love yoga, swimming, Zumba, houseplants and making food and eating it! Although I am passionate about great books, I really love teaching and getting to know my students. We're going to have a great year!
