Wednesday: World Myth

HI Students! This week read about Oshun, one of the main Yoruba Goddesses:
After reading about her draw a picture of one of her or one of the objects or animals that symbolize her.
Also, study up on your African countries. We will practice again and hopefully improve our scores! http://ontheworldmap.com/africa/
Have a great week! Mrs. G

HI Students! I love your myths and your pictographs! You are doing a great job on this project! Let's plan to finish our codex next week in class. We can hopefully build out Mayan wall with pictographs as well.  Try to inscribe at least half of your myth into your folding book or codex this week for homework. Thanks! Mrs. G

Hi Students! Please continue to work on your Mayan Myth this week. Try to finish the story and come up with at least 25 pictographs to tell your story. Remember that pictographs can mean a word or a phrase. You will just need to make a reference sheet so we can crack your code! We will work on the actual books in class next week. Take care! Mrs. G
