Jacobucci- Biology-7 Thursday and Friday

Description:  This course utilizes an online “tech” book as its main curriculum. Students must have reliable internet and access to a computer on a daily basis to complete this course successfully. Students will explore ecology, biochemistry, cell theory, energy and information transfer in cells, biotechnology, development of multicellular organisms, heredity, genetics, and the human body systems. Frequent laboratory activities introduce and reinforce concepts and principles of biology. Textbook reading assignments, hands­on resources, and computer visualizations will be used during this course to allow students to gain a more complete understanding of the concepts presented. Laboratory experiments including dissections are performed. Hands­on participation in dissection is not required, but students are required to observe.
