This course utilizes an online “tech”book as its main curriculum. Students must have reliable internet and access to a computer on a daily basis to complete this course successfully. Physics is the study of matter and energy and their interactions. It provides a systematic understanding of the fundamental laws that govern motion and energy. This course is designed to instruct students in foundational physics concepts, prepare students to function in an increasingly technological society, develop analytical, problem-solving, and laboratory skills, and integrate math, science and technology. Topics include: motion in one dimension, Newton's Laws, forces, motion of projectiles, circular motion, work, power, momentum, energy, circuits, waves and light.
