Description:  Students will explore ecology, biochemistry, cell theory, energy and information transfer in cells, biotechnology, development of multicellular organisms, heredity, genetics, and the human body systems. Frequent laboratory activities introduce and reinforce concepts and principles of biology. Chapters on evolutionary theory and human reproduction are not covered during class. Textbook reading assignments, hands-on resources, and computer visualizations will be used during this course to allow students to gain a more complete understanding of the concepts presented. Laboratory experiments including dissections are performed weekly. Hands-on participation in dissection is not required, but students are required to be present.

Earth Science Activities Week 39 5/16/2018

Today we did "mini presentations" about a space related topic. We created posters and shared info that we learned about astronauts or space missions. 

Choices:

****Be prepared to dissect the fetal pig next week as we had too many absences to complete last week.

Biology Week 31 3/21/18

Today we completed a sheep brain dissection. Students identified the important parts of the sheep brain.
Homework: Be sure to check the google classroom on more respiratory and circulatory activities over break.  If you did not complete the Respiratory and Circulatory systems board, take time over break to complete.
