Please continue with your story after you resolve my edits on the last chapter. Submit the new chapter here (with the rest of the story) or write me a note that tells me where it is. :)


You may want to write two chapters if you feel motivated as we have a week off from class. 

You started the tracking doc last week (See Week 2.11 Later Assignments). Please continue with it as you read this set of chapters. It is a big chunk, but you have two weeks to read it since we don't have classes the week of April 12-16 due to testing.


To turn this in, you can just resubmit your doc.

Add your next chapter onto your google doc. You should be on Chapter 4 or 5. Remember, your target is at least 10 chapters and you should aim to have your main climax around Chapter 8. You should now be well into the plot, having developed most of your characters, and have an interesting and engaging conflict established. :)

This week's reading assignment is Chapters 1-6. We'll read one or two chapters aloud in class and start this doc together, and then you'll finish the rest on your own and finish adding to this doc.

If you planned out your novella last week, now it's time to write Chapter1.

If you wrote Chapter 1 last week, please resolve my edits and comments, and then add chapter 2 to that doc. Please rename that document as: Name Fantasy Novella.

Do this if you are writing your first chapter. Use the other doc if you are going to plan the whole thing out first.

Do this if you'd like to plan out your Novella's structure and story a bit before starting in on Chapter 1.

Start with the slide deck - we'll do that in class.

Later, if you want to take one of the animals from the slides and have a conversation with it, you can do that for extra credit on the 'Extension' doc below. ;)
