20-21 M1 Interactive Math 1-Monday - LeFevre Assignments

Choose one of the Math Minute PDFs to complete. Either print it out or look at it on the screen and write your work on scratch paper. Either way, take a picture of your work and turn that into me. Remember, it is okay not to know how to do some of the problems, you can skip those! Choose whatever Math Minute works for YOU :)

After you have watched the BrainPop, print off this page and color the fractional parts of the circle.  This is a review of what fractions are...parts of a whole.  Upload a picture of your page when you are finished.

There is only one Math Minute this week!  Answer any of the questions that you can and then take a picture of your work and turn that into me. Remember, it is okay not to know how to do some of the problems, you can skip those!

After watching my demonstration video, make the following four polygons on your geoboard and then send me a screenshot. If you need to, look back at the sheet that you added to your interactive notebook last week to see how many sides each polygon has and what the polygon might look like.

2. Pentagon - Blue
3. Hexagon - Green
4. Trapezoid - purple (a trapezoid is a type of quadrilateral)

Choose at least one of the symmetry pictures to print off and draw the other side of the picture! Remember, in reflection symmetry one side of the shape or object is a reflection of the other side. Both sides will look the same :). Show me your symmetry skills! Below, I also have an EXAMPLE if you don't quite understand what to draw.

After watching the video on the Stream with the directions, choose either the Multiplication Math Frenzy or the Subtraction Math Frenzy. You can do both if you would like.
