This week you will be reading about endangered species. You will develop an argument to explain how species become endangered and thereby become extinct. You will be Investigating how biodiversity describes the variety of species found on Earth and assessing how changes in biodiversity influence humans’ resources and ecosystem services and which human activities affect biodiversity and ecosystems.
Activity: DE Board week 38 4/27/2020 Endangered Species.
Be thinking about one animal on the Endangered Species list you would like to examine in more detail, this will tie into our activity next week.

Due to the late start, our Science classes did not meet today. We will be postponing our test to the week of November 11th. Next week we will review in class and play the Kahoot review game. You may begin to work on the Take Home part of our test which is Studying Materials Scientifically activity 11- choosing a glass cleaner for the hospital. You will have two weeks to complete this assignment.
Please continue to update your vocabulary logs, you can look over the review sheet for the complete list of words. In addition you need to have a 3x5 notecard handwritten on both sides for the test. I have notecards that I can hand out in class next week. You will be turning the vocabulary log and notecard in on the day of your test. These are required and you will be getting a grade for them. THESE ARE DUE WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH.

Homework:
Please check Infinite Campus to see if you are missing any work.
Study for test. WE WILL BE PLAYING THE KAHOOT GAME NEXT WEEK IN CLASS TO HELP REVIEW.
Prepare 3x5 inch note card- hand written on both sides (you can pick up notecards in class next week) you may want to add information to the card once we play the review game in class
Compete vocabulary log with all words from our review sheet.
SMS activity 11- this is the take-home part of your test, you will do this individually at home (the activity mentions discussing things with your group, just do it all individually)- You will turn in the SMS activity 11.1 worksheet and the SMS activity 11 analysis questions.
****You are welcome to start on this "take home" part of the test this week***
YOU MAY USE NOTE CARD AND VOCABULARY LOG ON THE TEST AND ALL WORK WILL BE HANDED IN AFTER YOU TAKE THE TEST ON NOVEMBER 13TH.

Your test November 13th will have 4 separate grades (1- test, 2- note card, 3- vocabulary log, 4- SMS activity 11)
