Name: Ann Franke
Ann Franke was raised in Delaware and received her Bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Ferrum College in Virginia. She enjoyed five seasons as a park ranger at both Mt. Rainier and North Cascades National Parks in Washington State. She earned a teaching certification and a Masters of Education degree in Special Education at the University of Delaware and taught high school in Maryland until moving to Colorado in 1996. In Colorado she has concentrated on raising her daughter, working as a teacher, and managing a household full of animals. She has continued her lifelong appreciation of animals and the environment and strives to share that enthusiasm with her students.
