APEX is pleased to announce that starting in the fall of 2024 we will be offering i-Ready testing to all our students in grades 1-8. This adaptive assessment tool is designed to provide teachers and parents with detailed insights into your child's reading and math skills, allowing for personalized instruction tailored to their specific needs. The i-Ready Diagnostic helps identify strengths and areas for growth, setting realistic goals for each student to achieve grade-level proficiency.
The assessments are conducted three times throughout the year - once in the fall, once at the end of first semester, and once in the spring - enabling us to monitor progress and help support your desire to know how your child is progressing. In our recent survey, the 2nd highest need for support (behind only homeschooling high school) was assessing my child's progress. We are so pleased to be able to offer this tool to support you in this way. As always, assessments with APEX are optional but we encourage you to take advantage of this free opportunity to monitor your child's proficiency in math and literacy.
