Middle School Science: Our classes just finished up our Earth Science Unit with a test on Plate Tectonics.  This week we started our final unit on Ecology.  This will be a very fun unit where students learn about our living world and how all living things are interrelated.  We will be examining worms, owl pellets and frogs in detail. 

Dear Parents and students,

As we close out our first semester, I want to let you know it has been my pleasure to get to know all of you. 

In Middle School Science we have finished up our unit on Physical Science  unit and started on our Plate Tectonics unit which we will be completing after the holiday break.

In Inventions and Engineering we have completed our units on bridges and the "Puff Mobile" and will be working on giving oral and written directions when assembling items.  

I look forward to the second half of the school year and wish you all a safe, restful winter break.

 

Week 3: August 26-28 Classes:  

Welcome, we will be starting a unit on Studying Materials Scientifically.  We will also be reviewing the Metric System and how it's important when keeping data. Students will learn about the Google Classroom , Discovery Education  and the Lab aids that we will be utilizing to communicate and complete labs.
