Inventions and Engineering: 

Our classes have started a unit on Tiny Houses.  Students will be building tiny houses from shoe boxes.  We will be creating blue prints and electrical schematics to follow as we create a tiny house plan with electricity. 

Dear Parents and students,

As we close out our first semester, I want to let you know it has been my pleasure to get to know all of you. 

In Middle School Science we have finished up our unit on Physical Science  unit and started on our Plate Tectonics unit which we will be completing after the holiday break.

In Inventions and Engineering we have completed our units on bridges and the "Puff Mobile" and will be working on giving oral and written directions when assembling items.  

I look forward to the second half of the school year and wish you all a safe, restful winter break.

 

Welcome to Inventions and Engineering.  We will begin by discussing the difference between inventions and discoveries.  We will be keeping a notebook in class to help us explore the different investigations.  Students will be working in groups to complete different activities.
