Description: In this hands-on class, students will learn techniques to create weaving, basketry, felting, braiding and other fiber/textile projects. The media used will include yarn, wool, wire, reed, silk, fabric, recycled objects and other materials. Cultural, historic and aesthetic aspects of fiber/textile art work will be explored.
