Okay kiddos. If you are online with me, here's where you can upload your Stop Motion Films.
Thanks for all your hard work.
Hope you enjoyed doing it.

Due:

Film, Film, Film in Google Classroom

Film, Film, Film

Okay kiddos. Now it's time to buckle down and film your silent movie.
It shouldn't be one long movie with no stops. Take the time to plan out your shots, takes, scenes, angles and distances.
We'll use the next two weeks to get the filming finished and then we'll start working on the editing.
I can't wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for your hard work.

Due:

Framing, Rule of Thirds, Storyboard in Google Classroom

Framing, Rule of Thirds, Storyboard

Here's what we talked about today. You can print and cut out the frame if you'd like; otherwise use your fingers like a rectangle to play with how you would set up a subject in a shot. The only thing that needs to be turned in is the storyboard for just a short portion of your Narrative (story). Print it out or draw your own then take a photo and upload it here. Make sure the drawings are dark enough to see in your photo. Let me know if you have any questions
Thanks for all your hard work.

Due:

Narrative for Silent Film/ Things to remember in Google Classroom

Narrative for Silent Film/ Things to remember

Here you go kiddos.
Please answer the questions for your Narrative for the silent film that you'll be coming up with.
Remember: it can be something you make up or something taken from a story you already know. Make sure you upload it for next week's class. The page with the colorful set up is just to refer to. You don't need to answer those questions. Also attached are the things to remember (camera distance and angles) from the past couple of weeks. Have fun. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Due:

Flip Book Assignment in Google Classroom

Flip Book Assignment

HI Kiddos. So, you've come up with a character and a plot; now it's time to make a Flip Book.
Like I'd said before, you need a minimum of 30 pages (index cards or some kind of card stock cut into the same sizes.) It may seem like a lot but if you take a look at some of Andymation's tutorials (on YouTube), you'll see that it takes lots of paper, time, (don't forget a light source) and patience.
You don't have to be amazing artists. Do what you can do. Add as much detail and color ( if you'd like.) I'm giving you two weeks to complete these. It's not something that should be rushed. Take your time and enjoy creating. We all need some creativity time these days. Mostly, have fun.
Once you are finished, have someone videotape your flip book as you run it. Film it a few times in a row, (in the same take), so we can all get a chance to see it a number of times. Then upload it here and we'll share with each other in two weeks. If you have any questions let me know.

Due:

Character and Plot (For those of you who haven't done it yet. in Google Classroom

Character and Plot (For those of you who haven't done it yet.

Okay kiddos. I want you to choose a character that you would like to see animated.
Draw. a picture of the character (this is not art class so I'm not judging you on how well you draw!!).
Once you've figured out a character com up with a plot for your character.
Example: My character is a Hippo Ballerina and the plot for my character is that she was cast as the lead dancer in Swan Lake.
Super easy. We'll do more with it next week.

Due:

Crash Course Film History #2 in Google Classroom

Crash Course Film History #2

Also the Questionnaire to fill out. Have fun. Due next week.
