Hello and welcome back! Happy New Year.
We're going to start off the year with making our own Shadow Theatre and Shadow Puppets.
I've attached my video, a couple tutorials and some really fun Shadow Theatre performances. This is such a fun and entertaining type of theatre. I hope you enjoy it. Take your time on this; it's not a rush to get it done. I'll check in next week with a few more examples. As you finish up your shows, I'd love to see them so go ahead and record and upload them for me. Have fun!!

my favorites. Have fun, be well!

Hope you have fun with these scene starters. Take a look at my video then look at the attachment with the scene starters. You are all so creative. I have loved watching your videos.

Here are the cards I was talking about.
If you have access to print them out, that would be great. If not write them out on small pieces of paper. Make one stack of Characters and one stack of Emotions; draw one of each to act out in pantomime (acting using no words). Play with friends and family. Have each other guess what you are acting out. It's lots of fun.

This week you get to make a commercial to send to me.
I'm super excited to see what you come up with. I've given you a list of ideas but you can come up with whatever you want.
Choose an item that could have magic or unusual qualities and record your own commercial about it.
Have fun. Can't wait to see them

Here's a fun one. Choose a character you'd like to be. Find some kind of costume piece(s) that you'd like to wear to look like that
character. Make up a story about your character. Become that character and tell me all about yourself.
