Your assignment for this week:
Record a video with you playing the Rumba Clave pattern followed by the new Conga pattern we learned today to the "In Havana" track. ( on the padlet) You must have the music playing so that I can hear it in your recording to see if you are playing along with the music correctly. You don't have to play for the entire song, just long enough so that I can observe that you can play each pattern correctly.
Please upload the video here. The video is worth 10 points and will also count as your daily participation points as well.

Watch the video. I give some information on my expectations for recording videos. Some of the homework I am getting from you doesn't include everything I have assigned. Make sure you listen to what I am asking for as well as reading instructions for the assignment each week. This week we are picking up speed and adding the melody line for you to play along to.
The new tracks are all in the padlet. The fast tracks are listed first.
If you play piano and want to learn the melody line on the piano since we don't have xylophones, let me know. I have included the music. If you have a good xylophone at your house and want to learn it, let me know that as well.
Homework: Play two patterns for me paired with a different pattern from what you are playing for me. I should be able to hear the music in the background as you play along. I need to see your hands as you play.
Upload to this assignment. You will earn up to 10 points each per pattern for a total of 20 points. Due Oct. 8th at 9am
