3. Read through the Animate Cards and try out 3 different ways to animate letters. You can use color clicker,
spin, play a sound, dancing letter, change size, press a key or glide around.
4. Take a photo of your name, and upload it to our google classroom.

Hello Robotic Students,
Today we are going to learn a new program called Scratch.

We will be using this program for the next several weeks.
Directions-
1. Please watch the Scratch Intro- Start here.mov
2. Then try out the introduction activity. Try to have your sprite move and say a sound.
3. Then watch the Scratch- sprites on stage movie.,
4. Open your worksheet called- Scratch Activity 1
4. Fill out your Scratch Activity 1 worksheet, and take a screen shot of your completed worksheet.
5. Upload your worksheet photo to our google classroom.

Remember to "turn in" the assignment when you finish in google classroom.

Hello Robotic Students,
This week we are going to do the Back to back lego challenge. Look for the two plastic bags of legos in your materials bag. You will need a partner to complete this challenge. Here are the directions to complete this challenge.
1. Partner A and Partner B need to sit back to back. Partner A- builds something with their lego pieces.
2. Partner B- waits patiently for partner A to build something.
3. Now, Partner A describes what they built to Partner B. Partner B may not look at Partner A's build. They can only ask questions to Partner A.
4. After Partner A is finished describing their build to Partner B, can they reveal their builds. How do they look?
5. Now switch roles, and let Partner B build, while Partner A listens to instructions.
Please take a photo of your builds, and upload to google classroom. Remember to "turn in " the assignment.

Watch the video on old technology, then interview the oldest person in your house. You can also call an older relative, and ask them about old technology. Remember to fill out the google survey, and then to submit the Turn In button, so Mrs. Hook knows you completed this activity. Enjoy learning about old technology this week.

Here are your directions for this week's activity-
1. Watch the video of Mrs. Hook explaining the lesson.
2. Print the two pdf worksheet- coding morning routine.
3. Complete the worksheets.
4. Upload a photo of your completed worksheet to google classroom, so Mrs. Hook can see that you completed this activity.

Hello Introduction to Robotics Students,
1. Activity- Please draw two cards of each move- the ice cream cone, wave and jellyfish.
2. Then ask someone in your family to do the silly handshake with you, using your sequence cards.
3. Fill out the google form reflection.
4. Please take a photo of your silly handshake cards and add it to our google form reflection.
5. Remember to turn in this assignment, in google classroom, so I know you completed this assignment.
