Hello Robotic Students,
Today we are going to learn a new program called Scratch.
Here is the link for Scratch-

We will be using this program for the next several weeks.
Directions-
1. Please watch the Scratch Intro- Start here.mov
2. Then try out the introduction activity. Try to have your sprite move and say a sound.
3. Then watch the Scratch- sprites on stage movie.,
4. Open your worksheet called- Scratch Activity 1
4. Fill out your Scratch Activity 1 worksheet, and take a screen shot of your completed worksheet.
5. Upload your worksheet photo to our google classroom.

Remember to "turn in" the assignment when you finish in google classroom.

Back to back engineering in Google Classroom

Back to back engineering

Hello Robotic Students,
This week we are going to do the Back to back lego challenge. Look for the two plastic bags of legos in your materials bag. You will need a partner to complete this challenge. Here are the directions to complete this challenge.
1. Partner A and Partner B need to sit back to back. Partner A- builds something with their lego pieces.
2. Partner B- waits patiently for partner A to build something.
3. Now, Partner A describes what they built to Partner B. Partner B may not look at Partner A's build. They can only ask questions to Partner A.
4. After Partner A is finished describing their build to Partner B, can they reveal their builds. How do they look?
5. Now switch roles, and let Partner B build, while Partner A listens to instructions.
Please take a photo of your builds, and upload to google classroom. Remember to "turn in " the assignment.
