Field Trips
APEX parents coordinate great field trips for our families
Below are all the field trips currently being offered
Some field trips you enroll directly with the venue but other field trips will require that you register with the coordinating parent. The parent coordinating the event will contact you to confirm your enrollment and to explain how to pay for the field trip. Payment will usually be by PayPal, Venmo or direct to vendor. It's that easy!
Please note - Field trips offered by APEX are not sponsored or endorsed by the APEX Homeschool Program or St. Vrain Valley Schools. Parents are responsible to determine the field trip's appropriateness for their family and child. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the field trip, supervision during the field trip and must attend field trips with their child.
*We highly recommend that you do not plan a field trip on your students' APEX Day.

What: Secret Garden Musical
Where: Candlelight Dinner Playhouse

When: May 2, 2024 @10:30am
Cost: $25 per person (ages 6 and up)
Details: Join your APEX friends for a production of The Secret Garden Musical at Candlelight Playhouse, and support APEX students performing in the show. Candlelight is offering a show-only (no meal) performance for us. It is still a full-length, professional production, so lap infants/toddlers are not permitted, and the show is not recommended for students under the age of six. Registration/payment is due by March 8, 2024.

June 2024- Culture & Cuisine in Northern Italy
What: EF Culture and Cuisine In Northern Italy (Enrollment Closed)
Who: Students going into 6th, 7th or 8th grades in the summer of 2024 must travel with a parent. Students going into 9th-12th grades and graduates of 2024 can travel on their own.
Where: Milan, Verona, Turin, Cinque Terre, Parma, Modena, Bologna, Lucca, Florence, Rome
When: June 2024
