AAA Program

APEX is Happy to Announce the Launch of the AAA Program!

Wondering if your student is at grade level?
Concerned that your student needs additional instruction in literacy?
Unsure if your child is achieving mastery in math?

APEX now has an opportunity to help strengthen your student's core progress in Math and Literacy and it's called...

APEX AAA Program:  APEX Achievement Acceleration Academy!

What is AAA?
APEX AAA Program provides small group instruction outside of regular APEX classes to help students in grades K-8 achieve grade-level mastery in Literacy and Math. For High School students, AAA is a Math/Language Arts intensive, focused on the content in the SAT and ACT exams with a goal of increasing standardized college board test scores.

Who is it for?
Everyone! AAA has a branch for K1, for grade 2-8 and for high school! And our Curriculum Consultation Families are welcome to participate too!

When Does it Meet?
  • K1 - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:05 pm to 4:35 pm
  • Gr 2-8 - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20 pm to 4:45 pm
  • K8 students will have a recess break and snack time
  • High School - Fridays from 8:30 am to 10:30 am
  • AAA classes begin the week of January 17th and run through the week of April 25th.
  • Students must attend BOTH days for K-8
  • All grades must sign up for the whole semester to participate
  • Placement testing/assessment will be scheduled between January 4th and 7th
Who are the Teachers?
AAA classes are entirely taught by APEX teachers so your students are working with staff you already know and trust here at APEX. All classes meet at APEX in our classrooms.

How Does it Work?
Gr K-8: AAA will utilize Fundations for early literacy and iReady for Literacy and Math assessment and instruction. Students will participate in group instruction, individual small group instruction, differentiated online instruction on iReady (Gr 2-8), and individually targeted remediation to address their learning needs.

High School:  Students will review key math and language arts concepts with APEX teachers to build their mastery and prepare for college board tests. Each week will include test prep, higher math mastery, and advancing literacy skills.

What does it Cost?
Nothing!!! The cost of materials and instruction is completely covered by APEX and SVVSD.  Just think of what a program like this would cost you in tutoring or with an outside organization. And here you can participate for free!

How do I sign up?
So glad you asked! Just fill out the form below by Friday, December 17th at 5:00 pm. We'll be in touch and get you all set to go!
