This week your children will be bringing home their version of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Eric Carle.  Every one of your children put forth immense effort towards this project.  I am proud of all of them. 

 

Some students completed the project in class and already read a few of their pages aloud to the class.  It was an amazing experience to watch them read their story aloud in Spanish and share their beautiful drawings.

 

Other students are still working on their book.  Those that are not complete yet, may have post-it notes stuck on their pages to help finish their book at home.  It would be wonderful if every student would return their finished (or almost finished) book to APEX next week so they can share it with the class.

Class Description:

Hola! This introduction to Spanish course will provide students with engaging activities and experiences to help students explore the Spanish language and culture. The students will become familiar with Spanish vocabulary and phrases in order to prepare for continuing Spanish study in our middle school Spanish courses.  

We will follow the PBS guidelines: be respectful, be responsible, be safe.

Grading Policy:  

Participation grades are based on being prepared and being productive.
