For some reason you will probably not be able to pull up the Advanced Designs. If you wish to create Advanced patterns you will have to research on-line for templates.

It is EXTREMELY important that you read over these direction carefully before you start the project. If you do not understand a step, have a family member try to help you to understand it.

Once you start your project you do not want to stop for a long period of time.
If you have to stop for more than 10 minutes tightly put it in a zip-lock bag.

Have all of your materials ready before you make your slab.
Our clay is air dry clay, you do NOT have to wait a day for it to get leather hard. Work fast, DO NOT START OVER ONCE YOU START. Make sure you flip it back and forth, you do not want it to stick to your surface. If you can not continue to work make sure tightly put it in a zip-lock bag.

I will be unavailable Nov. 4-15. If you have any questions keep going and do the best you can with your presentation.

About 3 layers.
One you start putting your wet strips on the mold you must finish. You can NOT add more strips once the plaster is dry.

Read the directions carefully before you start to fold.

Watch this video. It is a tiny bit different in Steps 8 and 9 of the handout. I think it will be helpful to watch before you start folding your box and lid.
