Due:
Here is a template you can use for your presentation if you'd like. Feel free to adjust/adapt it as you see fit. These are the elements you need to include, however.
Due:
We are done with ILCs! So here is a fun word puzzle for extra practice with word origins.
Due:
You can use your ILC chart, Adventures of English book, a dictionary and your pronunciation guide.
Due:
You can print this and complete it and send me a picture of that or you can just type the answers in next to the clues and submit the doc itself.
Due:
What s the single most interesting thing you have learned about the history of the English language so far, based on your reading in The Adventures of English, the red textbook, etc.?
Please write in complete sentences and include specific details about why you find the thing interesting. ;)
Due:
See Latin Lesson #XI for more information.
Once you complete your doc, and before submitting it, please open KEY doc and grade your own. Include your points the top of your completed doc and then submit it. :)

Due:
Reserve your letter, number, punctuation mark on the doc below.
Due:
You may use any materials generated by me or you this semester EXCEPT for ROOTs stuff, please!
Due:
Remember, add TWO derivatives for each ROOT word on the list. This isn't due until class on Tuesday, October 19, so make sure to study for the quiz!
Due:
Create a crafty version of your new name on something permanent like a plaque, a t-shirt, a headband, a cereal box, a dog collar, etc., using materials you have around the house. I'm thinking a clay tiara right now, but we'll see.
When done, please take a picture of it and turn it in here. And make sure to bring your project to class to show it off!
If you are having any problems figuring out your phonetic name, please let me know before you make a final project.

Due:
You will need access to the Very Important Pronunciation Guide (attached in Week 3 Later Assignments) to do this. I suggest printing it out!
Due:
You will complete this by using www.dictionary.com just so we are consistent. If you happen to have a real dictionary at home, it would be interesting to look up a couple of the words in it as well for comparison. :)
