Investing as a group often result in good learning experiences. Different team members often have different levels of risk tolerance - you may be conservative, moderate or a speculative (aggressive) risk taker. Working together to make investments brings these differences into play. It helps students listen to each other and get out of their comfort zone to either take higher risks than they would have otherwise or tone down their impulsiveness and think before taking too much risk.
Let us take this risk tolerance quiz as a class to see where we each fall in terms of our own risk tolerance!

Discuss with your family about average grocery expenses per week. Also, find out how frequently people fill gas in their car and the current price of regular grade gas per gallon in your neighborhood.
Bring the information in next week to use in your budgeting project.
In addition, remember to create a shortcut for your studentname-PF folder that I shared with you in your drive/classroom/Narayanswamy-Personal-Finance-Wed folder. Add all the budgeting documents from last week and this week into this folder, including this homework file so that all documents related to this project are in one place. Confused? Send me an email and we will find time to do this together (should take only a few mins). Thanks!
