LeFevre - Logic-Tuesday Assignments

Take a look at these pages...think about them a bit and come up with your answers.  These are fun ones to think about and figure out.  Do one or both and upload a pic of your answers to me here.

Either play chess at home or use one of the links below to play chess.  Take a pic or screenshot of your board and upload it to me here.  Also, send me a message and tell me a bit about your Chess playing experience.

Print one or both of these games.  Play them with a partner.  Come up with a strategy to win!  


Take a pic of you playing the game with someone and upload it here.  Also, send me a private message explaining your strategy.  Just a couple of sentences.

Print out the two PDFs below.  One is just one page and the loop strips is two pages.  You will need scissors and tape to complete this activity.  Have fun and see if you can guess how many loops you will get each time.  


Take a picture of your loop cutting paper and your loops and upload it to me here when you are done.  Do at least the first three loop cutting strips.

Work through the escape room form and see if you can get to the end. If you don't get the code on your first try, you will see extra clues from me under the answer to use to find the correct code. When you are through all the doors, press submit at the end of the form to turn this in...you don't have to take screen shot this week.

**If you have spent all of class time on this and have not made it all the way through, you can take a screen shot of where you made it to and upload that to me in this assignment.

Here are a few things you need to know:
1. Read the directions and know the codes you are trying to find
2. Know that some of the clues are not as they appear and you have to figure out how to figure out the code from them
3. Find the clues by hovering over the pictures and finding the place where your mouse pointer turns into a hand. On an iPad, click places within the picture.
4. If you have tried and you do not understand the clues, I have four hints on this classwork page to help you get the clues. Read them if you need to.
5. Your answer will have red writing under it if it is wrong...no writing under it if it is right. Click "Submit" when you have all the clues in.

**Note: One one clue you will see measurements and the numbers are separated like this: 9 200 and 3 400. Know that these are just missing the commas and are the numbers 9,200 and 3,400.***

When you are done, take a screenshot or picture of the "Congratulations" screen. It is just the word "congratulations. Turn this in to me. As always, let me know if you have any questions or troubles.

Remember, if you have taken too much time on the escape room and cannot figure it out, take a picture of your screen/answers where you are at and submit that for the week :)
