Hello! Happy First Week of School! I am SO happy that you are in my class! We're going to have a great time! Really!
In the attached document you will find the final "in-class" assignment that students will do on their own time. This should take no more than 5 minutes to watch the video and 10 minutes to write about it.
For Homework: (This class is rated a 3 meaning that students will have an hour of in-class work and 2 hours of homework due the following week.)
This class does not have a textbook. We will be exploring the visual, and performing arts through videos and recordings and writing about what we experience. The links will be included in the homework each week.

This week we begin our journey through the art of Dance! While there are so many wonderful kinds of dance in the world, we will only be able to cover a few of the genres. We are starting with Tap Dance. This week you will explore tap dance and how it has evolved through the decades in America. We will sample several examples of tap dance from the early part of the 20th century and into the 21st century.
