Description: This group class will give students with little or no piano experience a chance to learn to play. Students will learn piano technique, note reading, rhythm, solo repertoire and ensemble playing. This is a group piano class and is not designed for students taking private lessons with another teacher. Consistent, regular practice is a requirement of this class. Practice records are a part of students’ grades. Students will present their accomplishments each semester during an inclass recital. Students must have a keyboard or piano at home in order to practice each week.
